- Standin’ on the Corner Park- Just a few minutes from Earl’s, this famous tribute to the Eagles’ song has become a must-stop photo op for Route 66 travelers.
- Old Trails Museum- Located downtown, this small but fascinating museum dives into the local history of Winslow, Route 66, the Santa Fe Railway, and Native cultures of the region.
- La Posada Hotel & Gardens- Tour the restored Harvey House hotel and enjoy the art gallery or a meal at the Turquoise Room—one of the Southwest’s premier historic dining experiences.
- Meteor Crater (about 25 minutes away) This massive impact site is one of the best-preserved meteorite craters on Earth and well worth the short drive.
- Homolovi State Park- Explore ancient ruins of the Hopi people just outside of town—an underrated stop for lovers of history, hiking, and desert views.
- Jack Rabbit Trading Post – Just a short drive east in Joseph City, this iconic stop is home to the famous “Here It Is” sign and vintage roadside vibes that make Route 66 special.
